EVERY DANCER IS AN ATHLETE

Why do we dedicate 30 mins of each Groovebox session to resistance training, high intensity interval training and Calisthenics?

Being able to execute dance moves or routines for long periods of time takes strength & endurance. A strong body builds muscle which also builds confidence and body awareness. Learning what muscles do what helps them control and focus on those muscles when executing choreo or freestyle because they become more efficient in their movement mechanics.
